Sixty - Why can't I answer/end calls by putting down handset?
hi my sagemcom sixty manual says I can answer and end calls by picking up and putting down the handset but I have to press the button. I have tried resetting everything. can you help?

Normally it's set up automatically that when you pick up the handset from the base it answers the call without pressing any buttons and when you finish the call just replace the handset on the base.
However, if the handset is not on Sixty's base then you have to press the button on the handset to answer the call & press the same button to end the call.
Please let me know if it's not working this way.

It's not working in this way. To answer a call we have to lift the handset and press the button.

Thanks for the information.
In this case i will advise you to perform a full reset. Menu - Settings - Advanced set. - Set base - Reset Base and then OK (default base code 0000 ). Unplug/re-plug the power cable for after 10 sec.
